COURSE: Training meets OSHA Guidelines for First Aid Programs and
combines lecture, interactive video demonstrations featuring emergency
scenarios that are likely to occur in a workplace environment and hands-on
training to teach participants lifesaving skills.
- First Aid: Participants learn first aid skills for
treating a variety of injuries, such as burns, wounds, head, neck and back
injuries, and heat and cold emergencies. Participants also learn to manage
sudden illnesses, stroke, seizure, bites and poisoning.
- CPR-Adult: Participants learn how to perform CPR and care
for breathing and cardiac emergencies in adults. This includes AED training.
COST: $80 in advance, $90 at the door (Price increase due to increase from the American Red Cross).
AUDIENCE: Agency and independent providers: Class must have 6
people and no more than 12.

COURSE: A 14-hour course for providers. Complete instruction to fulfill the Medication Administration Personnel Certification I for oral and topical medications and health related activities.

ANNUAL REQUIREMENT FOR PROVIDERS
COURSE: Basic/New MUI Rules, Unusual Incident Reporting, Major Unusual Incident Reporting, Definitions, Scenarios, and Health and Safety Alerts.
COST: $20 in advance, $30 at the door
AUDIENCE: Providers and County Board Staff who are in need of basic MUI Rules regarding the identification and reporting of MUI’s and UI’s.
