How to register by the deadline:

Please register no later than five business days prior to the class. Registration is required prior to the date of the training.
IMPORTANT: To ensure timely confirmation of your registration, please include e-mail address, a phone number, and mailing address.

REGISTRATION CONFIRMATION

It is the responsibility of the individual(s) registering for training to verify SOCOG’s receipt of the registration and payment. Confirmation of your registration will be provided by e-mail. Therefore it is vital that you provide contact information whether registering on-line or by phone. If you have not received confirmation within five business days, please contact us again.

SESSION FEES & PAYMENT

To qualify for the basic cost, fees must be received five business days prior to the date of training. Please send ONLY money orders (Checks will not be accepted.) made out to SOCOG or Southern Ohio Council to SOCOG, 126 East Second Street, Suite C, Chillicothe, OH 45601.

Fees paid at the door will increase by $10 (Cash or money orders only. Checks will not be accepted).

Registration is NOT finalized until payment is received.

CANCELLATION/REFUND POLICY

Cancellations will be accepted and a refund granted by SOCOG only if received three business days prior to the session. It is the registered individual’s responsibility to confirm/verify receipt of the cancellation. If no cancellation is received by SOCOG within three business days prior to a session, a “no show” will be documented on SOCOG’s training records. After two “no shows” within twelve months, you or your agency will be charged a $10.00 fee. Remember to cancel so that those on a waiting list can be included.

CLASS LOCATION

Courses are held in the conference room at JOBS One Stop, 150 East Second Street, Chillicothe, OH, 45601 (located next door to the offices of Southern Ohio Council of Government. You can get directions from your location to these classes by inputting the above address into Mapquest or GoogleMap. Public parking is located on the west side of the building (126 East 2nd Street) or across the street from 150 East Second Street. Do not park in the reserved area between the two buildings. Certificate of Attendance

Upon completion of any SOCOG training, each attendee will receive a certificate of attendance. Those attending First Aid/CPR will receive in the mail an American Red Cross certificate card. Please file your certificate(s) in a safe place. A fee of $5 per certificate will be required to get a replacement. To request a replacement complete the Request for Certificate form and send it with a money order for $5 per certificate made out to SOCOG.
